August 11th, 2018

We are so excited to host our wedding at the beautiful Camp Navarro! This magical place is located on 200+ acres of amazing redwood forest and rushing rivers, just north of Boonville, CA. The address is 901 Masonite Industrial Rd. Navarro, Ca 95463. This area has a super special place in our hearts. The first time we met in 2012 was at the annual Sierra Nevada Music Festival in Boonville. We became friends right away but didn’t start dating until several years later.

A little history lesson: Camp Navarro started as a lumber camp for the Albion Lumber Company, took turn as a CCC camp and an army camp, and sold to the Boy Scouts in 1956. The spectacular natural setting of Camp Navarro makes it one of the most unique venues available and we are so excited to be one of the few weddings that happen here each year.

The time has arrived!

You may now book your accommodations in the link below. If you choose to stay, guest are welcomed to arrive at Camp Navarro as early at 1pm Friday, August 10th and stay until Sunday, August 12th 1pm.

  • We will be providing a yummy dinner Friday Night at 7pm for all the guests that will be staying at Camp Navarro. Please let us know on your R.S.V.P. if you would like to join us for this dinner. We strongly encourage everyone to stay on-site; we want to feast, dance and enjoy every minute we can together. We hope to recreate all the fun parts of a camp experience, so we've planned festivities Friday night through Sunday morning.
  •  Saturday August 11th, Cocktails will start at 3pm and the ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm on the great lawn. Hors d’oeuvre and dinner to follow.
  • Please note that there is no cell phone service at Camp Navarro, but Wi-Fi will be provided.
  • Thanks for joining us in making memories we will never forget. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and can’t wait to celebrate all weekend long!

Registry

Registry

We have set up our registry to reflect our love for adventures and traveling, working towards purchasing a new home and just everyday necessities.

Zola is a great website that offers traditional registry options as well as the ability to contribute to our honeymoon and also group gifts.

Amazon is one of our favorite websites and is super convenient, they offer lots of house held items.

We’ve also registered at Kohl’s to keep it easy for the local shoppers and ER Energy to support local businesses. Both have very great house held options as well.

Information

The weather at Camp Navarro in August will typically be in the low 90’s. The camp is surrounded by shading redwood trees and guest staying for the weekend will be allowed to use the rivers to cool off in. We ask the guest that during the reception and ceremony to please stay out of the rivers. At night the temperature may drop to the mid 50’s so be prepared and bring a jacket. The night of the ceremony will be new moon so visibility will be very low, bring a flash light!

Things to Do

If you have the opportunity to explore the area before or after the wedding, consider yourself lucky! Anderson Valley and Mendocino are incredible! Below are some of our favorite local attractions.

  • Hendy Woods state park 10 miles east of Camp Navarro has some of the largest “Old Growth” coastal California Redwoods and are easily accessible. Most hiking trails are short, flat and kid-friendly. Camp Navarro also has some hiking trails right on site at easy convinces.
  • Wine and Beer Tasting, some of our favorites are Roederer Estate, Golden Eye, Pennyroyal Farm and of course Anderdson Valley Brewery.
  • The town of Mendocino is very charming (40 min drive North). We love the cute shops and the yummy restaurants nestled against the coast line.
  • Along the coast, Kayak Mendocino has an amazing tour of the sea caves south of the town of Mendocino. Reservations required.
  • Explore northern California beaches at the end of Navarro River Redwoods State Park (near the intersection of Hwy. 128 and Hwy. 1) or visit the beach at the mouth of the Big River, just south of Mendocino, and run along the Big River trail.

Pets

Everyone knows we love our fur babies but unfortunately Camp Navarro has a strict no pets policy, so please leave your pets at home

Wifi on the Property

You can be as on or off the grid as you would like. There is no cell service in Navarro, but there is great Wifi at the camp and we will provide the code upon arrival. Don’t fret! You will be able to keep up with all your social needs.
