Our story begins on the summer solstice of 2014 at a bar in San Francisco, where Austin and I were hanging out with different groups of friends. I was feeling kind of bored, but my friends were clearly not ready for the night to be over; so, I sat by myself on a couch while they worked on getting another round of drinks. Austin soon approached me with a debonair, “Hey, how’s your night going?” I did appreciate his company while I waited for my friends, but as luck would have it, we only had 5 minutes before my friends came to my side, finally ready to go home. But fortunately Austin managed to get my number… and he actually texted me about 8 hours later. Caught off guard and pleasantly surprised by his initiative, I agreed to meet him for a drink the following Friday. One drink turned into dinner, which turned into three years later…. when Austin asked me to marry him in the middle of a golden field overlooking the ocean.
What a guy!  

Over the years, we have fallen in love with each other’s authenticity, zeal for nature and adventure, and shared appreciation for the serendipity of life that brought us together. And that’s exactly what we hope to celebrate with all of you at our wedding.
